Bavarian Blast Parade!

MaKenna has recouped from that nasty hand foot and mouth crap! It was horrid. She is actually been better for almost a full week. I hope that never comes back to our house again! Nor do I hope anyone else gets it. Terrible.

So this past weekend since she was all fixed up, She got to spend time with Grandma Eileen on Friday while Mom and Dad got to take Grandpa Wendler out for his birthday! Where else did we take him but of coarse his favorite place! JACKPOT! We good food this time which to me I think ist totally amazing. Seems like everytime we go there it is terrible! After we were stuffed we gambled alittle and then headed home! Needless to say we lost. And we say everytime we are not going back! And we still do! Saturday it was so stinking hot that we kind of hung indoors, napped and then went to the kiddie pool. MaKenna loves to go. The bad part of taking her by myself is that she wants to go down the slides. Well, I can't bring her to the top of the slide because I can't hurry around to catch her in time! Next time daddy will have to go. We were only there about an hour which was great plenty! Then Saturday night MaKenna got to SPEND THE NIGHT... yea I know.. I went out on a limb... MaKenna stayed the night at Grandma LeAnns. Of coarse she had fun and spoiled of coarse. Can always tell when she is somewhere where her parents aren't! Dang Grandma's sometimes!

Sunday we got to sleep in a little and then headed to town to pick MaKenna up and head to the Bavarian Blast parade. MaKenna loves parades! She did very well for completely skipping nap! Here are some pictures of her at my aunts for the parade.

Here she is chowing on kettle corn for awhile I was trying to make sure that there was no kernals. I was digging in the bag biting some off giving them to her only to find out she is shoveling the corn in with the other hand! So.. we check most of it over and gave her the bag. Here she is all conent!

And last... Kori... you are lucky I wasn't ready with the camera... this is all I got of you! Dang it! My friend Kori Fluegge was in the parade for Lafayette Charter School. She works there. They did alittle float that said come grow with us. Very cute.. even funnier.. Kori had a headband on that looked like a flower! Had to see it! AND SHE LOOKED GREAT TO!! :)

Hopefully it wont be long for the next update. We are staying home this weekend to get the motorhome ready for camping and just going to lay low! Can't wait!
