Memorial Day weekend!

Our Memorial Day weekend was fantastic. On Friday night Darren decided to take MaKenna in the boat for the first time. For her first time she did SOOOO well. The first life jacket that we put on her was way to tight and she couldn't even move her chin. Then we found Brianna's old life jacket which is for 30lbs and up it fit! Or coarse! I was alittle nervous about puttin git on here but the other ones I couldn't even zip cause her belly was tooo big! Here is a little clip of her first boat ride!

We did catch some fish. I think I caught the biggest crappie! I had a hard time fishing because I had to tend to MaKenna. It worked that I could cast my line and just leave it in the water and come back to it after about a minute and I would have a fish on! I also caught at huge northern to. We caught all sorts of fish. Darren even caught a sheep head!

We also played outside alot. MaKenna is obsessed with rocks. She here she is showing us her rock with Daddy. (her favorite person!)

And to top the weekend off.... Darren and I went fishing with 2 of our friends. Darren and Kristen Drill. We left at 8 and fished till about 1 or so. We had non stop action! It was great! We caught huge Sunny's! I think Kristen and I both smoked the boys! Us girls fed the family's yesterday! We ended up with 56 Sunny's.

Kristen and I also succeeded in getting a great great sun burn! We both were hoping for some great sun and got it! We both were fried! (it was really hot out! which made it even better!)

The final count! I have been wanting to get a picture of all our fished lined up. Darren said it would be impossible cause they would be flopping around. Well... they were pretty much all dead and it worked out great! Oh and then the picture everyone was soo excited to take! ( I know I am slightly mental!)
