Crawling.. swimming, and hanging out!

MaKenna is still doing wonderful! She is crawling everywhere! She is in to everything she can get her hands on. She is really obsessed with opening and closing doors. She sat in the laundry room hall way and played with that door I think for a half hour today. I got a lot done! I just kept checking on her and she would smile and laugh and then would continue on!

Daddy is fishing up on Mille Lacs Lake this weekend so MaKenna and I just were hanging out. Saturday we went swimming at Vogel with friends Emily and Avary. MaKenna of coarse LOVED it! She loves to swim. I had dug in the change drawer figuring it would be a dollar or two to go swimming, well... I was wrong!!! It was $4.25 for each of us adults!! Thank goodness the 2 kids were free! Emily had to pay for me to get in! Gosh have times changed since I was there! It was a dollar back then!! 15 years ago! well, maybe 10 but still.. Seems like an awful lot, doesn't it?! Here is a picture of MaKenna eating a blueberry muffin! She LOVED it! There isn't really anything she doesnt love.. If it involves eating.. We are good! She eats everything. I have been trying to work with her on eating should I say... real fruit?... Apple pieces.. pears.. anything.. she still gags with them once in a while. We are just going slow with those. I am sick of buying baby food already! She can eat almost everything that we have for supper. I know that Darren and I both have to eat better now that we have her. All the food groups!! It could be a bad thing for us too!

I have officially stopped pumping as well. I made the decision a couple weeks ago. I had over 150 stored bags of milk which would be great plenty for MaKenna. She will transition to big kid milk at a year.. Maybe alittle sooner but. I should have plenty to carry us till then. It was a very painful process let me tell ya... but it was soooo worth it! I am glad I did it as long as I did. I probably could have went longer but I was ready to be done as well. If we were to have another kid some day I definitely would do it again!

Well, that is all for now. MaKenna is getting ready for bed. She is fussing and wanting to snuggle.. My favorite! Go Vikings!
