Been way to long!!

Where do I start! It has been so long since I updated (well about 2 weeks). So much has happened in that time it feels like. We had a good Thanksgiving. We ate lots. We went to my uncle George's restaurant for lunch. Had the best turkey ever. It was soooo juicy! Tons of gravy.. mmm! Gosh it was good. From there we headed to Darren's moms. We just hung out there for a bit. And then headed home to the couch! I couldn't move for the rest of the day!

I have finally updated the baby bump picture. This would be the 23 week pose! I feel like I am getting just enormous! (I actually am!) Baby seems to be doing fine. Kicking alot. It is like a time machine. I know like the actual time of day that it will kick it seems. Darren thinks he felt the baby move one morning. Evertime I tell him to feel, He is like I don't feel anything! I think it is just so strong on the inside that I think he should really be knocked out on the outside. I can feel the baby on the outside. Who knows. Maybe in a few more weeks it will be stronger for him. I can only hope not! It hurts sometimes!

We finally put up our tree last Sunday. I really like the one we got. I always get a real tree. It ain't Christmas if you have a fake one! The one we got is huge. Fits perfect. Now the problem I ran into is not enough lights or ornaments! I refuse to go and buy any until after Christmas when they are on sale so. We just have to wait till next year! It will be more fun and work cuz there will be alittle one! (How weird to think!)

What else.. We went to the parade of lights last Friday for the first time. That was kind of fun. Darren nor I had ever been to one. It was impressive for New Ulm. Actually lasted longer than I thought. After that we went out for supper with Dad. We went to the Mexican restaurant. It was actually really good. I had refused to go there for over a year becuase the last time that I ate there I was ill for a day barfing. I think I had food poisoning. It was nasty. But. This time was better didn't get sick.

This last Friday, I had the annual cookie bake with the girls. We had a really good time. None of my stuff turned out. I am a terrible cook! The carmels sucked... burnt them, the salt water taffy sucked... the only thing I made that came out good was the anise candy! and I burnt the bottom of my toe! Don't ask how I did that! It hurt! I have a huge blister! Other than that everthing else the girls made was awesome! The kitchen floor was unbeilvable... We had carmel, almond bark, food coloring, you name it stuck to the floor! It was great! Here is a picture of some of the baking night.

Saturday I was so sore when I work up, my feet everything was incredible swollen. I am really starting to retain water. :( not good. I really need to drink more water and keep my feet up when I can and excercise when I can. Saturday I hung low. Went to the dollar store that was going out of business and got baby outfits for seventy five cents a piece!! I couldn't believe it! They were sooo cheap! I am actually going back today. I think the baby needs more! We also went to Jadens game and the Ethen Alfred benefit. Jadens game was fun. Hockey is so easy to get into.. (Here is a picture of Jaden!)The whole time Darren kept asking me if I was alright because I was making crazy noises and jumping and jolting where ever the puck went! The sucky part was they lost. 0-3. The team they played were huge! I think the kid was as big as Darren!

The benefit for Ethen Alfred was amazing! It turned out incredibly awesome! There were tons of people, items to bid on, good food you name. This family really was inneed of this. I couldn't not imagine. I hope and pray every day for them that this passes soon for them and they can get on with their lives. And I also pray every day that something like that doesn't happen to us. Unbeilvable. Well, I can't think of anything else off hand right now. I need to run into town and get a few things. Next baby appt. is Dec. 19th. This time it will only be a belly check and lab. Nothing to big. The next one is the diabetes test. Hope everyone is well. Take care.
